The Martian was a great read!  Completely lived up to my expectations

As a nation we are so much less resourceful than we use to be.  So much wasted; makes you wonder what we will actually do to Mars.  Oh, because we are definitely going!

My son's observation last weekend:  There are three undefeated teams left in the NFL and they are all big cats.  The Bengals, the Panthers and the Cheetahs (not sure how he envisioned the spelling, could have written as Cheat-ahs).

More and more health risks on sitting for too long (http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/30/health/sitting-kids-heart-health/index.html).  Of course, whether you are sitting watching TV or reading it is not good for you.

Some college's are now offering scholarship for eSports.  So it won't be long until our area has an eSports training program for type A parents to push their kids through.   How much does a year of travel soccer or hockey or pick your sport cost?  Hey, with an eSports event maybe they won't have to drive through four states each weekend to attend a tournament.

Sitting down to write is harder than I thought :)
